I still remember those playoff BOAs and how I only got to celebrate ONCE. I was at a friends house and he was a coiler fan. He cried when we beat them in 86 and I didn’t rub it in but didn’t feel sorry for him. Especially when he said we won on a fluke goal. And of course it was but I think most people at the time overlooked the fact that coilers were stacked and still had almost half a game to tie it up but Vernon stood on his head.

All those feelings are rushing back now so I have zero feelings of confidence going into this. Only hope and dread. I hope things turn out better for us after 31 years.

The Panel

"Conna Conna Conna, how are the Flames going to stop Conna?"

That's the wrong question.

The Question is how are the Oilers going to stop the Flames?

They're not.

Man, you wouldn't think the Flames have a chance listening to this panel.

My goodness. He's not unstoppable.

It’s nauseating. I hope we can shut him down.

Am at Telus SPARK now. We roasted the 3 Oil fans who showed up by awarding each one a Disney's Frozen themed pencil. So they can feel super special.

Who used to shoot the puck into the opposing team’s net at the end of warmups in 04? Was it Saprykin?

HNIC thinks the Flames should just concede the series. Probably should just award Conner the Conn Smythe as well. Sheesh!!

Ron: the 9-5 game was the Turning point of the Oilers season. And then they brought in Kane. *Blushes*.

He's such a loser lol
