67? I know Lindholm was in there, but I thought Frolik wasn't on the team anymore.

So that's what it feels like when bounces finally go your way.

Said before, 1 minute earlier when the juicy rebound came seemingly right to Hanifin, but then puck hits the discarded goalie stick and slides away from Hanifin, allowing Oettinger to get across when Hanifin did get to control it, I figured we were done.

Ish. But for a legendary goalie performance, that could have been over in 4. The Flames dominated the Stars.

What a frustrating year... we lost so many games shooting 40+ on net after Brodie was done for the year. though it never felt right the way it does under Darryl.
I think Stone was injured the whole Peters year.
And then Geoff Ward's passive systems happened and it felt like Stone's career was done.
Props to Stone for bringing back the same level of play we saw when we first acquired him. But also props to Sutter!

Stone was off for a year recovering from a blood clot, was he not?

Calgary had 287 shots in the series, and Dallas had 195, so a differential of 92. Sportsnet seems to be off by quite a bit.

I keep watching replays, but it seems to me Lindholm shoots it off Oettinger's mask, rebound goes right to Gaudreau who shoots it off Oettinger's mask and in. Literally what it took for the Flames to score in OT

Every Flames first round win: - 1981 - Chicago (3-0)
- 1983 - Vancouver (3-1)
- 1984 - Vancouver (3-1)
- 1986 - Winnipeg (3-0)
- 1988 - Los Angeles (4-1)
- 1989 - Vancouver (4-3)
- 2004 - Vancouver (4-3)
- 2015 - Vancouver (4-2)
- 2022 - Dallas (4-3)
Winning game 7 in OT seems to be a sign of good things to come.

After how well we played through the game and series as a whole, after everything invested in this team over the years.. if this one was too taken from us, it would definitely break something in me.
Had a thousand mile stare for a whole 15:09.
Thank god. The universe is just, after all.

These games always feel like Schrödinger's hockey to me. All I can hope for is a waveform collapse in my favor, or that I'm in the right reality at the end of it all. Nothing convinces me more of quantum mechanics than watching hockey.
