I’ve been a flames fan since literally the very start of the Flames when I moved to Calgary at exactly the same time. I’ve lived in hopes and dreams for so often and so long and my faith has never waivered. I’ve done every superstition to get results. So here I am; listening to Roxette on repeat and reading CP.

I spent all day yesterday doing research to email to Daryl for how to win this game. Complex math filled many a chalkboard. Bayesian differential calculus with imaginary numbers. Along the way I accidentally solved the Collatz Conjecture and Goldbach's Conjecture. I also accidentally figured out how to make calling penalties an exact science without any controversy, but when I told the league they said they knew about that already but are ignoring it because it's more fun the way they do it.
But all that's an aside.
I figured it out. After exhaustive work, I figured it out!! I know how the Flames can win tonight!! And it's absolutely guaranteed! A surefire method! No doubts at all.
And here it is, for everybody:
They will need to score at least one more goal than Dallas.
I already emailed my findings to Daryl. For some reason, I have yet to receive any response or thank you.
Whew! Glad that's sorted! The rest should be fairly straightforward, right? Just go and do that, and they'll win.

Flames are undefeated in games I've been able to watch, and haven't won a single one that they've played while I'm at work. So, happy to report that I'm off tonight

These two things happening tonight would be just great.
This is the game where they have to produce results. Even if Flames win without them scoring, them doing so would be a huge psychological boost for them heading into the next round if they advance.
If anyone has a voodoo doll of Oettinger, now is the time to put that sucker to good use.
