I think about pushing the ball when i hit it for mid to long Irons and driver. Might sound weird but works for me. It helps keep my hips square and shoulders parrallel.

i used to think of the swing as an O shape; however, in the two lessons I had I started to think of it as more of a U shape

That was my first two years of golf.
It was such a revelation when I learned how to actually make contact.

I wish I could shallow out my Angle of Attack with my driver.
I'm like 4 down last time I was on a trackman, if I could get that close to zero I'd probably pick up 15y of carry.

I look up too early which is a habit I seem to have developed this year. My pro says I need to keep my eyes on the ball longer. Wait untill i've made contact.

New toys make me happy.
Makes me happier when I build them myself.
Delacour tomorrow.

It’s so nice to get out again, but man has my game suffered. There were times today where I felt really confident and thought I was playing like I was last August or September, but that was short-lived. Just really inconsistent and a lot of dumb mistakes.

If anyone is in the market for a fairway wood, highly recommend Ping. That thing is a rocket launcher. Haven't been that happy with a new club in a long time.

I’m going to buy a new fairway wood and probably a 3/4 hybrid. I was going to stick with Callaway so that all mine have the same “feel” though, if that makes sense?

Totally makes sense.
I'd try to find a demo day at an outdoor range through the Callaway website.
I have been missing the Calgary golf show. Was a really good place to go and hit all the new stuff without pushy sales people.
I'd suggest going to modern golf for a fitting but New Era will come and highjack the thread again.

I did a fitting for the others at my course and I think it was great and worthwhile. The new clubs have taken some getting used to, but I feel like they make a difference and honestly, that’s probably half of it. I hit a bunch of different clubs and settled on the Callaway because they just felt the best and I seemed to hit them the best overall. I went with the driver for the same reason, and although I did hit the Ping a lot and really did like that club, I just had a better feel with the Callaway.
When I ordered, the new Callaway fairway woods weren’t in yet, but I did hit the Taylormade, Ping and Titleist. I liked the Titleist the best, but I was waiting for the arrival of the Callaway before I’d decide on anything. They’re in…but now I’m golfing for real, lol.

The Rogue? That’s what I have and when I hit it just right I’ve hit some bombs! Much more forgiving than what I had before (Titleist) and it just seems so good at this point.
