As an aside to my earlier post, gonna have to add Nick Paul to the unsung heroes list. So far today, Max Domi and Nick Paul added their names to the playoff hockey lore. The Flames are going to need an unsung hero to step up and take the bull by the horns.

Nick Paul along with Max Domi also only had 2 assists going into game 7 tonight. Quick, who only has 2 assists and zero goals in this series for the Flames?

...looks like our unsung playoff hero is going to be...Nikita Zadorov??

Nope. The Flames had a 5 on 3 and a penalty shot in Game 4 and a lucky goal with Backlund in Game 6. Stop blaming the series being tied because of luck. Let's stop making excuses.

I didn't know Sutter is the all-time coaching-leader in Game 7s. That's pretty cool, although now I'm curious what his record in Game 6s is. If he's coached more 7s than anyone else, has he gotten there by winning or losing 6s?

Calgary must make life harder on Oettinger and they will be fine. If any other goalie was playing in net for Dallas, this series was over in 5 games.

Calgary is the better team.
