Default deposite for a keg....

This thread kinda goes hand in hand with the carpet cleaning one...

the issue: I had 2 empty kegs, only one of them has a reciet for it. I went back to the liquor store to return them, and i could only return the one that i had the reciet for, and now i am stuck with one keg and don't know what to do with it. I asked one bottle depot and they said they don't take them... am i just screwed?

Well I've asked around about that option, and from what i gathered, pretty much the only place that would fill it is big rock, and once it's all said and done, it 's practically the same price as buying a whole new keg

Jam a thousand Mentos in there and fill it with Diet Coke.

Don't they write down the serial number of the key when you pick it up? If so, they should be able to match it to the keg you have and then you can return it.

Take it to Wal-mart. They'll return anything there.

Seriously though, try Beer Land, they're shady enough there that they'd try and make something work. If that fails you could always buy a full keg and minutes later return the empty one and be all.. WTF??

Another place to try is Glenmore Inn- or ask at your local pub. If the owner is nice enough he might be able to take it from you for a few free drinks or something. (Not sure how much the deposit is worth.)
