Yes!!! Especially if he can stir it up with Dube, it'd be awesome to see Chucky and Da Bee buzzing around driving the Stars crazy.

Bowness admitted that he was having a tough time dealing with the 11/7 lineup.

PTSD. I can still see the goal in my mind.

With the amount of curses and hexes leveled at him on CP and reddit, I wouldn't be shocked if Oettinger's soul is literally ripped from his body mid game. Poor guy.

I don't want to see Oilers advance anywhere beside the golf course, the sooner the better and don't much care who send them there, don't have to be the Flames.

And they have the refs in their back pockets and a whole team of superior divers.

A 7-2 win for the good guys today. Flames win the series in 6.

Tkachuk hits the scoresheet with a hat-trick.

The New York Rangers beat the Montreal Maroons there in 1928. That was the crazy series where Lester Patrick, the 44-year-old coach, had to play goal in one game because the starter got injured by a puck in the eye, no backup was dressed, and the Maroons refused to allow the use of an emergency goalie.

As if that wasn't bad enough, every game of the series was played in Montreal, because MSG was pre-empted by the circus.

They don't make adversity like they used to!

if Sutter and Bowness both had to dress, I'd like our chances!!

Don't get me wrong Calgary is the better team no doubt about it.

Such a double edged sword. If Calgary knocks out Edmonton in round 2 that's a feeling that'll quell (rightly or wrongly) a lot of down seasons for me.

But if we were to do the unthinkable and get bounced by those fools I/we will never hear the end of it. GFG
I do not dread the series but completely agree with the stakes being extremely high and those games will be more stressful than if we played LA. Beating Edmonton would be amazing but losing to them would be dreadful especially with the somewhat uncertainty around the future of the team with all the upcoming free agents.

It is funny because of how these series have gone it gives both Alberta teams a ton of confidence against the other. I see Oiler fans in HF mocking our inability to score and say either team would be an easy out in round 2. I watch the Oilers struggle against the Kings with their weak starts and thin blueline as think the Flames will smoke them and with an elite goalie I am not worried about their big guns.

If the whistles are in the refs pocket the Flames sweep the Oilers. They can’t touch us 5 on 5

We'll deal with a potential BOA in round 2 IF we get past the Stars, and IF the Oilers can beat the Kings.

Until then, all I ask for is one more butt-clenching, stress-inducing, blood pressure-raising win against Dallas tonight. Doesn't matter if it's in triple overtime, or if the GWG hits Benn in the junk and trickles over the goal line just before time expires. Just win please.

Here's hoping for a nice, comfortable blowout win for a change, where we can all just kick back and enjoy the game without stressing out.

6-1 Flames.

Interesting that the Blues have gone 3-0 in the playoffs with an 11/7 roster. Berube and Sutter might be on to something.

It's what we need. These tight games are terrible for my blood pressure.
