Crazy to watch that old video and not see names on the jerseys. I thought everyone had done that by the time the Flames had moved here but maybe those were pre-season games.
Glad I got to see a few games at the corral as well. Had a great atmosphere with the stands being dimly lit. Def no bells and whistles going to a game back then!

Win the 1st, win the game IMO.
Dallas looked dejected after the last 2 games but will no doubt come out with a push, especially on home ice.
If we can get them doubting their compete level again, it's in the bag.

My family always chuckle at how dialed in I am at 10. Not looking at food or gawking around.
Name bars could have been an adjustment to the new city, stuff coming in late.

because we had, as you know, nearly identical childhoods I was also in a Hello Calgary commercial at one point but can't seem to find the footage on the youtubes- our soccer team was made to run back and forth across an empty field about 20 times for a few seconds of footage

Scores before empty net goals
Game 1: 1-0 Flames
Game 2: 1-0 Dallas
Game 3: 3-2 Dallas
Game 4: 3-1 Flames
Game 5: 2-1 Flames
As much as we would all love to see a 5-0 Flames win, I think that's highly unlikely. Oettinger is #1 in SV% and tied for #2 in GAA during the playoffs - as we've all noticed, he's played out of his mind. I think we get another close game that isn't really decided until the last 5 or 10minutes of the game.
Our depth stepped up offensively last game, hope to see more of that. And please for the love of god I hope Toffoli pots one.

Really need the team to be prepared to battle from the puck drop and stick with it for 60 minutes.
They have to play desperate and take it to Dallas.
Put them away tonight!

Oh boy it's getting hard to concentrate at work.
Strangely confident however, like I was between the second and third periods of Game 5.
I think the hockey gods facilitate a win tonight, and allow us to sit back tomorrow and calmly witness who our next victims will be.
I know that's thinking ahead but why not? Why not us? Why not?!?!?!?!

That’s probably Reggie. He seems to be ahead of everyone in the GT all the time.

Per natural stat trick, Flames are averaging ~3.5 xGoals/game. Stars averaging 2.3 xGoals/game.
Flames win 3.5 to 2.3.

The Flames have never ended a series in game 6 on the road. Let's change that tonight.
