The grabbers and crotch artists are experts. They've practiced for years so they know how to do it without getting caught or even noticed.

It’d be a damn shame if they have to make a public announcement: “Don’t be an ass and molest women.”

Yeah, no PSA. Just go and start banning people. They don't deserve a warning just so they can wait until the heat dies down.

I’m actually surprised to hear this, didn’t think this would happen at the Dome of all places. I’ve also seen people get tossed out of there for not even looking like they were that drunk.

Yeah, this is sadly common behavior everywhere.
As a guy who dated a bartender for almost a decade and waited around for her to close up shop, I could tell you stories that would make you ashamed to be part of the male sex. (if you identify that way)
The only time I had to get physical with a "patron" was at an isolated lakefront bar in NY. It was only the three of us there at last call, and the dude followed my gf at the time into the women's restroom.
If you see something, the best approach is to indirectly disrupt or call attention to the situation as others have mentioned.
If you are even "borderline" on this yourself, clean it up right now.

Ya I think I know the section it could of happened in. I seen a man in his late 30's early 40's talking with the young lady usher (17-19 is my guess) for what seemed like too long of a time to ask a "seat" question. I eventually notice that she didn't come back for quite a long time and when she did had 2 other young male ushers with her. I am definitely gonna watch interactions like this in my section a lot closer than I did last night, even if this wasn't the situation maybe can help prevent it happening to somebody else.

This is absolutely disgusting. With this just coming to light, I'd sure like to know what CSEC knows about this and what they've been doing about it if they do know. It sounds like it has been going on for awhile. In my mind, they should take at least as much of a public stance (and take action) of the same level as they did in the Peters/Aliu incident.

I'm surprised to hear this but probably shouldn't be. A bunch of young (and old) hockey males who often have had too much to drink doing stupid things?
The one comment about the "extra entitlement some guys feel they have due to the pricier tickets" feels especially gross.

Unfortunately these people are also sometimes the most profitable for the businesses.
It isn't an accident how they hire at Earl's, Cactus club, etc.

If someone see the incidence and did nothing to intervene it almost like they are doing it themselves. They can intervene peacefully, like go to her and ask her for help. I'm sure that POS would stop and back away when he see someone intervene. If he gets physical, then he can be tossed.

Kinda unrelated. But i was actually sexually harassed at work, by a women. I went to management and told them. I also had backup of another guy, who’s literally 20 years older than I am, who also was harassed by the same women. The owner, who is a women, laughed at us and completely dismissed it. People need to take this #### seriously. Man or women.

No is a complete sentence, apparently beyond the comprehension of some fellow humans.
As a female I would be too scared to call out a perpetuator but I would definitely rescue a fellow female if I saw this. How sad is that, to be too scared? But it's a reality.
I'm not saying it doesn't happen the other way around but it disproportionately happens male perpetuator and female victim.

I'd personally be putting a PA over the Saddledome during every lights out (would be included along with the usual 'enjoy the game, if you get hit by the puck see an usher' stuff) that there will be a zero tolerance policy for this kind of behavior. Under consequence of being immediately escorted out of the building by the police.

I don’t work at the ‘dome but as a female fan, I’ve experienced this on more than on occasion. And as some posters have pointed out, some of them have become very good at doing it discreetly. Like ‘accidentally’ walking into the back of me to either grab me or push themselves onto me inappropriately. I’m not 17 anymore (and I’m not an employee worried about my job) so I’m very comfortable calling them out on it very loudly and swinging an elbow if I need to. But I really feel for these younger employees who are subjected to this. It shouldn’t happen, ever. I think a public announcement would be a great idea - at least bring some awareness to it.
(Just to be clear, in no way am I suggesting this young girl, or any woman or man being harassed should have to feel comfortable making a scene to avoid these instances - it just shouldn’t happen in the first place.)

Yeah, I think it goes without saying that females endure this type of harassment on a way larger magnitude. For males in the industry, there are probably more threats of violence from toxic males than cases of sexual harassment, although I am sure female employees get some of that too. The guys that threaten smaller guys who accidentally bump in to them or just look at them the wrong way, are probably the same ones that feel entitled to get rapey with the girls.

Its a disgusting world we live in and I'm glad it's starting to be brought to light more often how its not okay to be a ####ing creep. My fiancee works as QA in O&G and she has some wild stories from when she was in the field that make me absolutely sick. Everyone needs to do their part to change this unacceptable behaviour. If you ever see a situation like this and don't want to start a confrontation, just imagine how the girl/woman feels without a choice.
