This was a big game for the Flames and Mangiapane delivered!
Actually seeing Oettinger beat cleanly by a laser was just awesome to see

I personally think the idea is stupid and immature but whatever, maybe its an age gap thing and the new CP members like it, fair enough.

But almost every post in there was fair commentary about the game at the time the posts were made. The first 40 was boring, the team did look slower than game 4, they did look like they couldn't find a gear.
If the game thread can't have analysis of the game as it happens, there's no point to having a game thread.

I made another wall of shame.

Guess I’ll just have to wear it with pride.

I’m happy to have been wrong, in this case.

Go flames go!

From my vantage point I only saw the 8 on his jersey so I thought it was Lindholm with another laser.

When I saw it was Mangiapane I was like "dang, bread can really shoot it too". But I shouldn't be surprised because I'll watch pregame warmup, and while Johnny stays out late to work on picking the top corners, Mangiapane is out there sniping as well.

She might just need more time. SHe is obviously learning on the job and things like modulating her voice, developing a sense of timing etc. don't come easy. It's way too early for her to be on a national broadcast on the ESPN flagship during the playoffs and that's too bad.

It was awesome at the dome and I will not a voice tomorrow and maybe Friday.. I am surprised that there were some people in our section that didn’t cheer at all except for goals. That Ottinger chant and pointing was pretty impressive.
They showed a woman wearing a yellow team Sweden jersey in the crowd on TV.

Sportsnet was showing the 'popcorn' in the background.

I am assuming he changed his tinder profile to "i've got tickets to tonights Flames game" and she thought, "it can't be that bad, anything is worth seeing the Flames" but it was that bad, it was.. however it was still worth it.

That is a true Flames fan right there. Whatever it takes. I would have thrown a wig on to be at last nights game.
Ha! That's pretty good.

Yup, Backlund pointed at her and threw her the First Star big as Flames chain.

I made it three times lol oops. Though another of my comments was cut short and taken out of context! I don't mind losing if we play like we did in Game 4 but my word periods 1 and 2 were pretty stifling.

I have a feeling our complaints might be filed under G though

So many awesome things about the game.

- Flames sticking with it and playing their game, even with Dallas trying to stop them with everything they have.
- Markstrom la Magnifique
- Mang with an unbelievable goal against the hottest goalie in the NHL
- Brunette girl hating her life
- Wall of Shame, then guys taking it seriously making it even better. OP quoted himself in it!
- ATL awesome as always. Oilers section is always a gold mine.
- Absolute top-notch gifs in the PGT.
- Crowd was rocking. Chanting more than just Go Flames Go.
- Red lot looked to have several THOUSAND fans. Would love to hear if there is an official estimate.
- Bieksa calling out Oiler fans post-game.

Let's finish this off in Dallas, recover and get er going again. I can't wait.

It looked to me like a dude who was trying to say 'check out my girlfriend! This is my hot girlfriend!' and a young lady thinking 'stop acting like I'm your girlfriend'

Maybe I'm missing the point of a wall of shame

Dube hasn't done much
I blame the ice cream
How many 5 on 5 goals have the Flames scored?

Where's the shame in that?

Oilers and Flames can meet for golf saturday
The entire series has been a giant waste of time

Yeah OK.

That wasn't my photo.

The red lot was in the thousands easily. That photo of mine I'd guess is probably 30 ish percent of the crowd
