Great third period, turned around a real tight checking game.

Guessing from all the comments on the wall of shame goodies, the game thread had the usual toxicity after Flames didn't play their best? I purposely stay out of those threads when Flames are losing, just to stay away from the negativity.

“That Backlund - what a bum!”, says Where ru Chris O’Sullivan, from whatever hole he’s been hiding in.

I don’t know how to post a gif. I’m too old and drunk now to learn. Go Flames!

So uh, does it make sense to drop Tkachuk to the third line next game?

I'd be fine with it.

What a 3rd.

You could tell the tides were turning before the Backlund goal and then they just put a strangle hold on Dallas afterwards. Refreshing to see this team have that killer instinct.

I’m not even joking, he might be my favourite PBP caller ever. Like, in my life. He is phenomenal.

I must say all of the Flames D men were good tonight. Both Zadorov and Kylington were penalized and had some gaffes but still played well.

And Hanifan had a good game as did Anderson & Stone.

I thought tonight you could really see that the Flames are a big dominant team.

Flames leading the series 3-2
Oilers trailing the series 3-2

This make me super happy.

That was an amazing "Oettinger" chant. It was loud, long, intimidating and even had the crowd pointing at Oettinger.

Boy the C of Red is starting to warm up.

Did that one hit a little too close to home?

As for me, no, not perfect, never claimed to be, and happy for any embarrassing posts to be mocked.

I think he may be hurt. And not just his hand. His wheels don’t look good.

No, I don’t even think I posted anything inbetween periods except “this sucks”, which was 110% accurate.

Agreed though, if I was quoted I would legitimately think it would be funny. I can get emotional!

I really don't understand why he isn't one of the lead guys for Sportsnet national games, but I'm not complaining. We're truly spoiled to have him as our regional PBP caller.

EDIT: Oh man basically a Fata from the last page. Oh well, it's a night for celebrating who cares whoooooooo.

I don’t even want to make the joke because i think it was just a coincidence but it’s amazing that you take Toffoli away from Mangiapane and Backlund and they become difference makers again.

Really not sure what lines to go with for game 6 now though. Probably stay with 7D though, Stone is a help.

Thought Tanev had an incredibly rough game by his standards. He’ll be better for game 6.
