If you think it’s extremely hard and incredibly frustrating now, just wait til the third biome.
No kidding. I thought I would never finish the game but I had just one of those fluke 1/100 runs and made it through. I thought the ending was kind of rewarding. Hope they make a sequel.
Anyone have recommendations for a Switch game that's good to play in short ~30 minute sessions? Trying to find something to play in handheld mode while on my lunch breaks at work.

Hollow knight. Ori and the Blind Forest definitive edition. Braid anniversary edition. Hades.
Basically all the stuff I've bought for my Steam Deck... which is finally on its way to me at long last, apparently. Fingers crossed it shows up this week.

I'm completely hooked into Slay The Spire right now after getting it free on PS+. I've never really played video card games before. I finally beat the real final boss last night with the construct after countless failed attempts. It's fun to finally get a deck where all the cards compliment each other and you can start to feel OP, compared to when you first start out and continually get wrecked

I started a classic WoW character for a nostalgia trip and to chat with my bro during the winter months and actually just got to max level (Warrior + Priest). I forgot how good WoW battleground PVP is, it's a blast even though we're way behind in gear. Battlegrounds are more about reading the situation and coming up with on-the-fly strategies, plus there's a unique joy to killing someone in top gear while using trash gear and there's built-in forgiveness if you lose. It's a shame no game has ever come close to replicating the WoW pvp experience, it's such a long slog to get to the promised land.
I've always secretly wished I spent a couple years as a complete WoW degenerate, I've never allowed myself to, but it looks like a great time.
Currently 40% off on steam if anyone doesn't have it yet.

The FIFA video game will be disappearing after the maker failed to strike a new licensing deal with world soccer's governing body.
Instead, EA Sports FC will be introduced from 2023 after the company creates the final game in partnership with FIFA later this year.
"I can assure you that the only authentic, real game that has the FIFA name will be the best one available for gamers and football fans," FIFA president Gianni Infantino said. "The FIFA name is the only global, original title. FIFA 23, FIFA 24, FIFA 25 and FIFA 26, and so on -- the constant is the FIFA name and it will remain forever and remain THE BEST."
I don't know how to feel about that. I mean, #### EA and everything they've done to the FIFA, Madden and NHL series, but I doubt this change will actually give us better games.

It will take a big commitment from a studio to make a new engine, pay royalties, and put out a polished product. There was a stretch where there were several different NFL games available that were just as good or better than Madden in NFL Gameday, NFL 2K, NFL Fever, etc. It just costs so much more these days to make games that it will take a big developer to take something like this on. Exclusives has been bad for video game sports as I just stopped playing them after a while because EA stopped innovating a long time ago and they aren't even trying anymore as Madden 22 for example is terrible.

Yeah, the only way I still play EA sports titles is after they've been released for free on Gamepass. The PC community does a pretty good job of modding them to get rid of the bugs and make them not as terrible, but it's sad that it takes a community of gamers to do, for free, in much less time, what a multi-billion dollar gaming company can't (won't) do.

Me too but that has more to do with me not playing sports games as much as I used to. I play them in spurts so waiting for the new one to drop isn't that big of a deal.
