Also the wall of shame should include trolls like BoLevi. Won't post in GT's but will be the first to post in the PGT after a Flames loss.

Like get the hell out of here you Oiler/Roughrider fan!

certainly something to learn from...if you are up 3-0 and totally dominating with 5 mins left there is no need for a high hit.

Also, at that point in the game keep things under control, Raz comes flying in and shoots wide giving that Stars an odd man rush for the other penalty. Hang onto the puck there, slow it down. Kill the clock and keep the game low event you have the biggest lead of the entire series.

Especially given how shersterkin is doing in comparison, who was his Vezina competition.

Outside of the Toronto kid who shut out Tampa for part of a game Markstrom is literally the top goalie in the playoffs in GAA.

Don't forget Trump. He's a big Trump fan.

His balloons comment was incredible though, to be fair.

His one saving grace in the last month of posting.

Just doesn't add up.

And for the record there are shades on both sides. There is a huge difference between a person not liking the way the game is going and having a bad feeling about the Flames chances and the guy that doesn't think Gaudreau and Tkachuk are worth bringing back, and feel the need to suggest the franchise has always sucked and will always suck in the middle of the first period in a playoff game.
Did they do something wrong? Yeah, maybe it's factually wrong, but is it wrong to feel that way, and to express it?

You are misremembering.
The only prior successful Flames' penalty shot in a playoff game was in 1990 vs. LA in game one.
Flames lost that game.

I don't know, don't get me wrong I think DJS is one of the best posters on the board - just don't think it's necessary.

I find posting how I'm feeling "at the time" therapeutic and it helps me de-stress in knowing others feel the same way.

So yup I confess "at the time" during Game 3, I vented that I might not watch Game 4 because "at the time" I felt really crappy and was having headaches. And I know others felt the same way (they said so), and some even elected not to tune in to the first part of Game 4.

So now I run the risk of being mocked as not being a true fan, or letting things get to me too much?

I appreciate that.

Remember its only after wins so that we can feel ok about it after the fact knowing that it turned out alright in the end.

Will make sure to scan harder for such gifs in the future.

I'll reword it then.

Any attempt to mock me for hoping for and predicting the best would fall on deaf ears.

But if I go off in an over the cliff positivity I would expect to be mocked.

"We will never lose again!"
"I think Gaudreau scores 6 tonight!"
"This is the best team ever built in NHL history!"

Don't think any wall of shame is going to be filled with rational concern and fear.

Just how I'm made up I guess, but I don't get how making wild complaints on a website is really venting in any productive way. How does that "de-stress"? Is it really better than just yelling at the TV? And it has the opposite effect on people who read it.

Nobody is getting banned for being negative.
Haven't called anything "wrong"

Being painfully pessimistic in an over the top baby out with the bathwater way isn't the same as expressing concerns in a hockey game.
