Love Gunnstrom just giving Nurse the “get the f*** off me” shove. Nurse’s face as he goes down just like “Whaaaaa???”

Hopefully the wonder twins are starting to fatigue.

There was a good 4 or 5 minute span late in the game where I swear McDingleberry never left the ice, not to mention that one PP in the 3rd where he was on for the full 2 minutes. You have to think those guys are getting a bit worn out by this point.

Draisaitl looked like he'd just completed a triathlon before puck drop last night.

They don't get worn out because they are used to it. They coast a lot, and manage their energy output

Quick was good but LA was just plain better last night...46 shots again

Yeah, I thought Smith actually had a really good game. Also, a couple posts.
Oilers were unlucky not to get a couple too. But LA fully deserved the win.

Yes... but when coasting near center ice after an Oiler giveaway, hopefully they see Nurse fishing a puck out of their own net. This is why the Oilers went on a run near the end of the season, McDavid and Leon figured it out (defense matters).... and after the Smith's pass up the middle in the first game (where Hydman and Leon were circling at center ice) and this last game, it appears that they forgot this lesson - again.

And Oil fans will still blame the reffing if they lose.

Their play will also not dictate icetime.

Down to a three game series, and feels like a toss up again between two unreliable teams. The Kings have controlled the play for most of the games I've seen, and Edmonton's defense has looked awful, but the Oilers' star forwards need to be very effectively contained again for the Kings to win.
I would so love to see the Kings win this one

One thing Woodcroft has been good at is getting the Oilers to reset after they get lazy and lose their structure. I expect Edmonton will be much better tonight so hopefully Quick can steal one and put the Oilers on the ropes

Hopefully LA goes into Edmonton a much more confident bunch after that last game. They know they can beat those losers with a strong commitment to team D and a good performance from Quick.
I think they've realized now that if you can contain or even just limit McDrai, your chances of beating the Oilers are pretty damn good. The wonder twins are the only play that Edmonton has, and if you can get a couple past Smith (which is not difficult), you'll come out on top.
I believe in you, Kings. Make us proud!

No matter the final result, a good long series is best for whoever faced either team in the next round.

By himself? I can't imagine he has any friends. He's so dour he makes McDavid look like Fun Bobby in comparison.

Did he party with Nurse?
“So, how’s your sister doing? Does she ask about me?”
