McDavid must be at his wits end after a few years there.

Fleury didn't want to be got. He has a NMC I believe.

McAvi with the soft D attempt on the second goal, then he floats into the neutral zone and stays out there for 7 seconds while the Kings had the puck in the zone!! The guy plays centre!! Wtf?

There’s so much movement in his game. He’s fun to watch but it must be exhausting.

Draisaitl with an elbow to the face of a King, stick slashed out of a King’s players hands, Nurse sucker punching a guy and then smirking, Kane sneaking up behind a guy after the whistle and slashing his achilles, Barrie punching a King in the face…no calls.

Nurse spears a guy in the nads. Nothing.

Smith was the only Oiler who showed up in the first.

Still. It boggles the mind that they haven't addressed the goaltending.
Imagine that team with Markstrom between the pipes?
He could hide a lot of the defensive warts.
Plus his equipment doesn't smell nearly as bad as Smith's.

Agreed. But he's not a guy who will consistently steal you a game or two in a series, where your defence is lousy. There are three things guaranteed in life - death, taxes, and Mike Smith giving up the puck behind the net in the last few minutes of a period.

It's crazy to me how much hype the Oilers are getting giving up nearly 50 shots a night to the Kings....not the recipe to long term success.

Oilers D has times where they look lousy, I’ll give you that. The first period was terrible, the whole team though. Credit to the kings.

I could actually hear Don Cherry yelling at Keith from my couch.
