If you swapped both goalies, Dallas would still be up 2-1 and Markstrom would look the better of the 2.

The difference is Joe Pavelski is a big game player who finds a way to score and the Flames top guys are not.

Not sure if any Flames player should utter another word to the media.

Gaudreau with his “We’ll be fine…” and Backlund was going on about what they needed to do to play better and score more, both before Game 3 and they both played like turds.

Shut up and stop saying any more cliché crap to the media. Go get some good psychologists tomorrow and start figuring out why you can’t remember how to play hockey.

I can’t believe the lack of intensity or pace with this team in the playoffs? Don’t know what to say, but they’re unwatchable right now.

We didn’t really pressure him….few good chances here or there

Not missing anything. No traffic in front. Gotta battle and get the intensity up by a factor of 100000. Driiiiive to the net. Not hard. Watch Flames goal one, crashed the net. More of that.

The most disappointing part is how disappointed I let myself get.
There is some comfort in seeing the flames do their annual bed pooping. It's also a sure sign of spring!

Whatever. I guess I just need to lower my expectations.

Want to be optimistic. I would feel better if we were averaging more than 1 goal/game after 3 games.

Kudos to the optimists who think the Flames have what it takes to turn this series around.

I will admit I am as disappointed as everyone else on here tonight. I caught myself yelling at the TV when Backlund lost that faceoff on the opening tip goal. Or when Toffoli couldn't bury that golden opportunity on the PP backdoor, Or when Hanifin turned and blindly threw it up the wall with sub 45 seconds left...

Im at peace though...If Sutter can't get these guys to win in the first round, all our questions have been answered.

The East had dog#### teams 9-16. That is why the top 8 were able to feast and put up ridiculous numbers.

He's been a human trampoline. If the players finally clued in and had someone standing on the side in front of him they could light him up.

Dallas is 12-0 when up in a series 2-1? Thought I saw that....

He causes a lot of gruesome career ending knee injuries?

I do not recommend mixing flames fandom and optimism.

Toxic brew, that

Where is that moron Johnny Makarov? Am I still being “laughed off the board” for calling out the Jarnkrok trade?

And yet the flames are only the second biggest bed ####ters this year behind Amber Heard.
