Mang is still hustling and trying to make plays. Pucks are just dying on Toffoli's stick and he's looking tired/lazy?

i don't think we should break up the best line in hockey, last time they tried that it was so bad and they put them back together and they immediately scored.

i don't think we're at that point yet, toffoli will work through it! he's a proven playoff performer look for him to break the slump with a huge goal

I suspect it is because Mangiapane is at least getting chances. He was probably their best player in game two.

It's been their playoff strategy for years and the refs just let it go.

I mean, compare the types of penalties the Flames are getting to Dallas. Flames are getting soft as baby #### interference calls co pared to cross checks and slashes.

Toffoli will be fine, he just needs proper service of the puck.

Manigpane looks too amped up and playing an individual game out there while Backlund with the puck is choosing, as always, the option that results in the least likelihood of getting hit.

What a train wreck in here. The way some of you are whining, I thought Flames were down by 5 or something.

She did it vs STL, but it did lead to this great response the next game in STL:

It is their regular season strategy as well. They do it constantly and the refs have adapted to it. That is why they are one of the least penalized teams.

Really, my only complaint from the first is the penalties and Tkachuk.

Tkachuk needs to focus on playing hockey. Dallas is effectively taking a 100pt player out of the game.

There's very little flow with all of the penalties and 4on4 it's ridiculous.

Can we talk about Tkachuk? He’s clowned himself right out of the series and now his hand might be ####ed. Play hockey, man.

I thought it was a good period.

I thought in the first 2 games, the Flames were too focused on physicality and didn't spend enough time focused on the puck.

I think that has switched tonight, and now Dallas is focused entirely on gooning it up. And as a result, the Flames are getting some Ozone time.
