Kylington needs to look deflection and shoot faster. I think Toffi is saying him that. Taking too long and shooting right to their tender's chest.

Toffi is saying him that? I really don't know if you're saying what I think you're saying. Are you saying that you have evidence or saw "Toffi" (toffoli I'm assuming) saying that to Kylington? Not suggesting the idea is outlandish, but just confused as to what you were saying.

The amount of pucks recieved on the backhand on the PP and hesitation before shots was borderline maddening.
Easily something that can be improved on.

He reverted to 2018-2020 Gaudreau tonight.
He has no reason to hesitate when he has danced in and made things happen all year long, and yet he peeled off on all but maybe one rush tonight.
It's so between the ears you just pain for the guy.
But at the same time you know it will only take like 20% more on the bravery meter from him to break through.
To quote the great Loubardias, "if you want different you have to do different". That means no more button hooks Johnny, unless you physically are given no choice.

Tofolli is hesitating when he has a shot - classic sign of a player who hasn’t scored much recently. Hopefully he can overcome that.
As for the rest of the offence, they need to do a lot more to ensure Oetinger (spell?) doesn’t get the good look at shots that he has enjoyed for two games now.
Markstrom has conceded one goal and the series is split - he and the defence deserve much better than this. There is no way they can remain near perfect in the hope the offence can get one goal to win a game.

Honestly losing isn’t terrible here. It’s how they respond that’ll decide the series. Need the split in Dallas now and that should be the goal.

It's a bit of nerves right now that's hovering over some guys.

Wouldn’t say he’s a beast in net. He’s playing against a team that isn’t know to score allot of goals

It’s one game, the Flames will find their stride. Dallas did play better but I still think the Flames are the better team, Markstrom made some big saves.

Mangi and Dube need to step up.
Sutter is being outcoached.
Tyfolli and especially Jarnkrok has been useless
Hanifin didn’t show up
Bad shooting making Ottinger an all star

So far this is by far the worst series to watch, really dull stuff
Flames have to pick up the pace or they will fall into the game style Stars want to play.

That was the Flames we’ve all been expecting. Dallas now controls the series. Now they become the underdog Sutter has been convincing them they are. Not a great strategy, but a strategy all the same.

Gotta love the people ragging on the crowd for not cheering enough in a game in which their team scored 0 goals.
It was electric in there to start the game. The team has to give a reason to cheer and they didn’t.
What God awful takes.

Hasn't adjusted offensively, team has scored 1 goal. Wouldn't say he's being outright out coached but he also hasn't out coached any one.

No kidding.
It was rockin right until the Stars scored....and then the life was sucked out of the place and the team truly never gave the collective a reason to get excited after that.
We have all seen great 1-0 hockey games through the years....niether one of these games were that however.

He has had his team in position to succeed throughout....the PLAYERS are the ones who aren't executing.
He can't go out and take the shots or make the right plays for them.

At the end of the day Dallas has imposed their will on the Flames and has taken the advantage. Sutter needs to do something as it's not going to be a winning style to play Dallas's game.
If we lose game 3 and score 1 or less the team will have zero confidence and the old doubts will sink in.

Considering most of the building is STHs, I’m not sure adding more would solve this issue.
It’s just the reality there’s a lot of corporate sth accounts, especially in the lower bowl.
Only way to solve that is to lower prices and make sure ticket buyers actually attend. That also assumes that lower ticket prices get “better/louder” fans in the building.
Earlier games might help, get a bit of a younger crowd. This would also need lower prices to be effective.
Or lower the price of alcohol. That makes fans louder.
Or electrify the seats. Then people will definitely stand and make noise.

Outcoach just means the other guy is doing a better job. The Flames are playing Dallas game, not the other way around.
