Tocchett thinks Dallas should take some runs at our stars. Gretzky is the only good thing about this panel.

Not inspiring a lot of confidence through the first two games that we are a threat to score much. A bit worried.

Between Dallas blocking/getting sticks on shots, and Flames missing so many shots, that was a frustrating period. What's the book on Ottenger?

This entire thread has become one big panic session. It’s been 4 periods. We all knew Dallas would try to play anti-hockey as a severe underdog in this series. Flames will fight through it and get something going. Relax

I expect the Flames to come out and take this game over after Sutter gives them the cattle prod during the intermission.

Tocchet is right though. If you're Dallas, don't engage Tkachuk and Razzy as much as target Gaudreau.

Having Klingberg getting involved in these types of scrums is not good for the Stars, responding by going after Gaudreau would be the best strategy.

Dallas stepped their game up, and the Flames are off. If the Flames get their act together one goal should be quite viable to overcome.

Man, there's a lot of whining in here.
The Flames will get it going this period. Some passes in skates that first period, which slowed their game down, but they'll be fine.

 Next goal wins

Feels like the Flames under Ward or Peters would continue to play like this for the rest of the game. How the team comes out and responds in the 2nd will tell me a lot about the rest of this series.

Seems like the flames are ditching the physicality of the first game, this has been a real snoozer so far

Yeah, I have a lot more confidence in this team's character under Sutter.
