The Stars are 100% capable of winning this series. We played horrible the other night yet they managed to only score 1 goal so if we come out stronger we’ll win.

My guess is they come out strong and win scoring 6 goals making us wonder wth Game 1 was all about. This team may actually have dissociative identity disorder.

We got this. I want Benn to hit tchacuk, or however you spell his stupid name, into oblivion.

Good morning. Good morning. In less than a couple of hours our skaters from here will join others from around the world and you will be launching the largest on ice battle in the history of mankind.
Mankind, that word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can’t be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it’s fate that today is Cinco de Mayo and you will once again be fighting for our freedom not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution but from the Flames.
We’re fighting for our right to live, to exist, and should we win today the Cinco de Mayo will no longer be known as an American holiday but as the day when the Stars declared in one voice, we will not go quietly into the night. We will not vanish without a fight. We’re going to live on. We’re going to survive. Today we celebrate the Dallas Stars!

There was a lot of doom and gloom after last game, and I hate bowness as much as the next person, but I think we are fine. We gave up only 1 goal and outside of the first period, played solid defense and had solid goaltending. Go look at the other series in the playoffs and only 3 games out of 12 played so far have been decided by a 1 goal. If we get a win tonight, we have a tied series coming back home. What we should focus on, is making sure we win the special teams battle, because that's what it comes down to in the playoffs.

interesting.. in that interview bownes said twice in the first 30 seconds that the players need to hang on the the puck longer. doesn't sound like the dump and chase instructions were top down. (or he's just throwing the players under the bus)
He is probably throwing them under the bus. That’s a Bowness move. I do hate how they dump the puck in and than all change. You watch the puck possession teams and instead of dumping it in the player will circle back get the change in and hand off the puck which keeps possession. Dallas just gives up the puck way too much.
I am curious to see what changes are made. That PP better look different. At this point I will accept any change. Not sure why namestnikov and kiviranta don’t get looks on the PP. Radulov has to sit out the PP. Miro needs to go on the top unit with klingberg. Load up one unit. Stop spreading the talent. That just leads to 2 units that don’t score.

Instead of letting it continue to be associate with those protests, consider this an opportunity to "take back the flag" and make it a positive connotation again.

A Flames flag has nothing to do with the convoy crap.

I agree about the first period. Dallas adjusted at the break though and didn’t give the Flames much in the second and third.

while true, they (Dallas) were also the trailing team and didn't give themselves much (anything) either.

Bowness down a goal: ok guys time to go into our turtle shell. Defense only.
Also Bowness: We lost the game because we can't score but we only allowed them 1 goal yay!

My guess is the Oilers are doing this to keep Archibald in the lineup
On the OP the graphics for Shots Made/ Shots allowed are backwards.

I destroyed and threw away my 04 flag just before Sutter was rehired. I rest my case.

Archibald now has an exemption (due to myocarditis) so it wouldn't be related to vaccination status (which applies regardless of whether you travel by air or by car). I think they're just wanting to avoid a positive test and potentially losing that player for Games 3 and 4 (since the US still requires pre-arrival testing).
But presumably LA is in the same boat, as are CGY/DAL and TOR/TB...
