There are whole websites devoted to Super Bowl commercials. It's a major thing in U.S. pop culture, which seems to have escaped you.
Anyhow, you still haven't said anything to support your absurd claim that diving increases TV ratings. I'm still waiting on that one.

Has there ever been a time when the HNIC panel has been well-informed? Their job is to keep people watching during commercial-filled intermissions, so they will say whatever non-sense pops into their heads to accomplish that.
I am occasionally entertained by Bieksa and sometimes Friedman has some interesting "insider" info, but the rest is just background noise.

Not sure what your talking about but I was being 100% facetious. Every major North American League has figured out skills sells yet the nhl is (was) still stuck in “the playoffs are harder” which really meant bad players will mug good players and penalties won’t be called and “that’s the playoffs”. But they have finally figured out they can make more money by actually calling the rules and having better teams win.
Diving is a small thing that usually slanted fans accuse of. A general fan isn’t seeing diving.
And Dino is such a caricature of a hockey fan it’s hilarious.
