Icon40 The legend of Louis Domingue

The much maligned former Flames stopper wins glory in playoff overtime coming into the game after four hours watching from the bench. Talk about a story!

He was cool when he was here.

Had a good attitude about being basically a 4th stringer.

Gets rewarded after sticking it out in the wings on multiple teams.

You love to see it.

Wasn't he the guy baking cookies when they were in the bubble in 2020?

Faced more shots than Markstrom in 43 minutes less ice time.

So, does Spicy Beef and Broccoli now become the de rigueur superstitious mid-game meal for Penguin fans?

I wonder what Calgary's overtime meal plans are. At home they can probably access whatever they need or want (Spolumbos?). Wonder what they do on the road (other than packing an emergency case of skittles for Johnny).

I imagine something to keep them going but not weigh them down or cause some sort of a rapid crash later. Also simple to eat... don't want tired hands fumbling around with packaging and etc. Bananas, dates, proteins. Sweet potatoes.

Or we could give them MREs! Lol JK

Freddie Brathwaite has to be somewhere on that list.

He was the 3rd defencemen before the 3rd defencemen was a thing with Mike Smith.

The debate at my workplace was if "not the best" was referring to the quality of the food, or to the choice of cuisine before playing in that situation.

I took it as not the best choice of food to be eating.
