Eagles get a massive upgrade at linebacker with the addition of Takeo Spikes. Darwin Walker will be missed up the middle, but that position can be addressed via the draft. They also have Patterson and the youngster Bunkley who can step up. I am loving the offseason moves in Philly so far......can't wait for the draft!

The Broncos signed Dre Bly to a 5 yr. $33M extension today. I guess he will be playing in Denver after all.
Brandon Marshall will be fine. He's a good kid and a very promising young receiver. Hopefully he can put this issue behind him....glad to here it wasn't a brawl like we hear about all too often in pro sports.

I'm really interested to see what new initiatives are tried with Goodells new conduct policy.
He already has meetings with PacMan Jones and Chris Henry. Jones' lawyer has already said they will take legal action against the league if anything happens.
But rumours are teams may lose cap space or draft picks for player misconduct issues. That should cut down on teams taking chances on these troubled players.

I'm sure it will come down to a "what is best for my club at the current moment". If your Pro-Bowl QB gets caught with an illegal fire arm and it is his 3rd strike. I'm sure the team in question will scream bloody murder. If it messes with your cap, then that could be a problem. But like you stated. Maybe if a policy is put into place, the players with questionable morals or off the field problems won't be drafted anymore. They won't be worth the risk.

I would think they would want to keep him, but you never can tell. Maybe they will use him to move up in the first round. No sure what the timetable for reinstatement is though.
If I were running the Dolphins I sure as hell would want him there.
