Hard to imagine any team offers him a contract even for a backup position. There's no point in signing a goaltender that you can't trust to start ever as he's just not good enough. It's not the end of the world for him as he will find work in Europe.

I don't care at all really that his career in the NHL is likely over. He's made a lot of money for a goaltender that's not very good. Wish I could be bad at my job and make millions.

You could have a prime Roy or Hasek in net for the Perds and Avs still probably win. They have weapons up and down the lineup, and in case that didn't impress you, they have a d-man who appears to be a generational talent.

Well it was 2-2 with the other guy in net and he is no Hasek or Roy. With Saros it would be at least close-ish IMO.

Makar made a nice move but what is Rittich doing in the middle of the net when a guy is coming down the flank? Hug the post.

This series was bound to be a blood bath with Saros out and the way the Preds finished the season. They're overmatched and not on their game.
