When Raffl is your most noticeable forward, you're not having the best offensive outing. Amazing how much Benn and Seguin seem to have fallen off in particular.



That was a good, hardworking, gritty effort from the Flames. A 5-0 scoreline might have felt better, but I think the Flames will take more away from this playing 60 minutes of tight-checking hockey.



Lots of solid efforts out there, but Johnny's defensive game was most noticeable to me. In prior years where he would get shut down offensively in the playoffs, he had nothing else going on. Not so much anymore.



Glad to have game 1 in the books
