Look at Kipper's equipment. It's so small which makes what he did in his era so much mor impressive.

Starting 12 forwards: 5 Flames draft picks, 4 Stanley Cup champions, 1 player who has played in the Final (in addition to the champs).

6 Stanley Cups and 9 Finals appearances between them.

Carpenter also has a Finals appearance with Vegas.

Tanev is the only d-man with a Finals appearance.

Yes.

Downtown hotels are expensive, but still ideal.

There's a Renaissance and Hilton within very reasonable Uber distance of the AAC. As soon as you get East of IH35 and into "Downtown", prices will go up significantly but there are multiple options for lodging withing walking distance of the arena and great food/drink options as well.

I just secured my tickets for Saturday night and my friend is taking me to his season seats for Monday. I'm so jazzed up for this week I can hardly sit still. I'm glad I won't be the only one wearing red, but I hope my Texan girlfriend is ready for the next number of weeks...

Nice! There’s a courtyard area on the southeast corner of the arena that has a good pregame atmosphere, they set up things for kids to do.

Game starts at 7:30 CT, I’d plan to be there by 6 at the latest. Let the kids run around outside if they want to and then head inside to watch warmups. It doesn’t matter where your tickets are, they’ll let you down to the glass to see the boys up close.

"It's really not about individuals at all - for Championship teams or teams that win rounds" - Darryl Sutter

That in a nutshell is the difference between the Flames and those No Goods to the North.

for the past decade, every game I look forward to they often end up losing. So no hype for these games this time around....
