I won’t lie I am nervous that these could be tough to resell if I am unable to attend all games. I am hoping people are going to want to buy tickets but the lack of sellouts this season gives me a little concern.

Was it entire? Thought it was just "8 events" round 1 and round 2?

The email said full playoffs package. Invoice seems to only be for the first two rounds. Might be the same case as it is with our season tickets.

I found it very tough to resell tickets the past couple of years. I typically only sell with 2-3 days notice but found I was at best getting my cost for the tickets. Playoffs are a different beast though. It is 90% the reason I have season tickets in the first place.

I'm like you and only bought a second pair because of my friends. No interest in reselling and have the same worry that it could be tough (it won't be should we somehow make it past the first or second round, the prices for round 3 onwards to me are a steal).

If it’s anything like 2004 they have to reallocate some of the non season ticket holder packs to friends/family/team/media for conference and Stanley cup finals.

Do you have to be a STH to call in for tickets?

Put my second pair on the ticket exchange for my cost as well as Ticketmaster resale for 2 days and crickets. My concerns are starting to seem valid. I am going to be pissed to lose money on these seats.

Doesn't ticketmaster resale charge both the seller and buyer extra fees?
I'm sure you'll have much better luck throwing them on here, Facebook marketplace, etc.

It’s absolutely stupid how much the total fees end up being. The seller gets charged a cut, which is worked into the ticket cost, and then once they are listed, they charge a service fee on top of that ticket cost.

List them on fansfirst.ca. I don't deal with Ticketmaster at all anymore. Personally, easier to sell them on fansfirst than here.

The seller's fee is really not that bad but the buyer's fees are ridiculous with Ticketmaster resale. On a regular sale they charge $6.50 in fees but for the same ticket price, $300 for example, on the resale market the fee is $75. I don't see how they could justify such high fees. I understand they have to facilitate the transfer and hold funds in an escrow account or something similar but it is just ridiculous.

Can anyone confirm how to transfer/send tickets to people? We have a friend with season tickets who is going to hook us up for game 2 but they are used to just getting their paper tickets in the mail which they would normally give us in person.
They are told now that the tickets are only provided electronically for playoffs. They are planning on giving us tickets for game 2 but don’t know how to send them to us through the phone. Is it as simple as doing a screenshot of the tickets and texting them? Don’t want to get to the game and it be an issue.

I put them on here first then Ticketmaster (fees are brutal) I am checking out fanfirst today. I think the issue is the crazy prices the Flames are charging. If we play the Oil in round 2 I should be able to make up my round 1 losses in that round as I think/hope that will be a hot ticket

Screenshots aren't acceptable. They need to go into their account and transfer them to you.

They need to log onto their online account and transfer the tickets to your email. When they get to the tickets, they just tap on transfer and enter your email when prompted to fill in a contact. You will need a Ticketmaster account associated with that email.
I'm pretty sure the screen shot method doesn't work anymore but not 100 percent sure.

Is fansfirst safe for sellers? It looks like you give away your tickets then get paid the next day. So a bit of trust needed?

The site must hold the funds. Because as a buyer you pay right away. I've used it numerous times.
It's far and away the best resale site.
