I'm no Bauer fan, but can someone explain to me how MLB can suspend a guy for basically three seasons and 400~ games when IIRC the D.A. wasn't even willing to press charges based on the evidence?

I keep saying Im not about cancel culture in these situations but how much of this do we have to see to know theres been ego issues in ump circles since time? This guy should seriously be suspended for that garbage.

Yeah there HAS to be some form of discipline for that.
When you start to make it personal to get a reaction for doing so, then toss the player for giving you the very reaction you were looking for....you have epically crossed the line.
Truly amazing this even occurred.

What Im finding odd in all this is MLBs position on this. Anyone whos worked in a corporate environment of any sort knows they try and minimize public outcry when it comes to questionable credibility. MLB in this case continues to allow the white box to be overlayed over the screen to see the strikes and balls despite it hurting their credibility. This leads me to believe they want public outcry to get bad enough where they force the electronic strike zone, and Im thinking it happens next year. Still bizarre theyll let it be shown in the meantime.
