The consensus top goaltender in the AHL, in an organization with an established NHL starter and a young, quality backup?

Every team in the NHL has an extensive scouting profile on Dustin Wolf.

Only 3 teams have used only 2 goalies all season (CGY, DET, and WPG). It might be good for Wolf's development to give him a taste of the NHL in a game where the stakes are pretty low. It would also reduce the risk of injury to our #1 and #2.

This is actually a must win if we want home ice advantage over the Minnesota Wild which the Flames will be facing in the conference final.

No choice but to make Johnny throw on those pads and give it a go. When was the last time a guy had 40 goals, 115 points and a shutout before? That’s what I thought. Guaranteed Hart right there.
You didn’t even mention his 100% face off percentage.

I would pay big money to see Marky's pads on Johnny. They would likely be up to his chest.

A lot of the players thought in hindsight it was a mistake in 2019 to rest so many of them. I imagine they want to just keep playing.

I haven’t watched a full game past Valentine’s Day (the day I started basic training for the US army). Which means that I haven’t seen Toffoli, Jarnkrok, and Carpenter play for us yet. So, regardless of any starting players rested, I’ll still be enjoying this game before I head to my next duty station in Georgia. My faith regarding this team never faltered, I was happy to see their record when I was able to look at it every now and then. Go Flames!

I get it up to now.

But in a back to back situation with travel tonight I would have rested some guys.

Don’t need to shut them down from game 78 but can give them one night off here.

He's rolling 4 lines. And it will likely be a no-hitter.

Hoping Tkachuk plays a quiet game tonight.

Don't need the Jets gunning for him.

But its Matthew, I'm not sure he has a quiet game in him.

Also do we know when our series might start yet?

All signs point to May 3rd.
