Likely Nashville wants to avoid Colorado and will come out guns blazing against Arizona. Nashville minus Saros is clearly the better matchup for the flames. This is a huge win for the flames tonight. Imo Dallas is an actual matchup and can easily turn into shut down 2020 Dallas.

Glad it's looking like Nashville in the first round. Dallas are one of the more uninteresting teams in the league from my perspective, and also have a few Flames killers on their roster. I'll take the heated series that has effectively already begun please.

Because they won a SO against a team that has been mailing it in for 3 weeks? Avs have won ONE of their last 6 games
These are the two worst teams in the playoffs, if the Flames can't beat either they aren't winning anything anyway

I’m still on train Nashville but for a new reason if Saros is out. I want Preds just for the Oil fan “Flames always get the backup” salt.

It’s really hard to judge the Avs right now. They have been playing out the season for a while now. They’ve lost 5 of their last 6. They’ve either cooled right off or they are just preventing injuries.
Meanwhile, Preds are a more physical team who probably don’t want to face the Avs in round 1. So maybe a little more oomph in their game.
Overall, now that Saros is out, I’m still all in for playing Nashville.

Because they like to tell the goalie he sucks and it's all his fault? I think the Flames would be fine. Guys like Tkachuk would probably feed off of the crowd instead.
