All I did was post the stats...you said they "seem competitive" 5 on 5 when they are the best team in the NHL

Why? Have our special teams not been less effective over the past while? As far as the actual concern, no, I don't see it as a large issue. We aren't playing the Avs yet, and I don't think a 22% PP or above is needed vs our first round opponent to win. Also Sutter will have more than a few days to "correct" any mistakes in the way the guys are currently playing.

Special teams have been brutal over the last few games.

Not putting a ton of stock into games where they're playing out the string though. Sutter and the staff see what we're seeing though so it will be addressed.

The special teams are not a problem, no matter how much concern trolls wish to make the a problem. And if you don’t see the concern as a large problem, why raise it? Just to churn?

The Flames PP in the last 5 games = 4/18. 22%. Not bad.

The Flames PK: 6/20. Not great but that includes a bad outing last night, which includes a 3 on 4 OT goal and a last minute bomb. The previous 4 games = 4/18, which is the same % as the power play.

Nothing to see, really.

K, I don't know the poster, maybe he is. I need to get caught up on who the trolls are these days, but he wasn't the only one wondering about that. I been worried about the special teams for a couple games now, but agree it probably isn't going to be an issue in round 1.
