we will see, it wouldn't be the first time a player was reported to be out for the playoffs only to be there in game one

I think both Nashville and Dallas will try to win their remaining games so that they don't have to face Colorado for the first round, because as Sutter said, it will be a waste of 8 days.

Any chance Nashville is playing games to throw teams off?
Darryl habitually makes his goalie situation as unclear as possible for opponents.

I wonder if those teams would rather play the Avs or the Flames in round 1? I assume the Flames but not 100% sure since it will be a lot tougher physically against Calgary with all the big boys on the team and Sutter’s style of play with a lot of checking (and in the playoffs many of those stick checks turn into body checks).
Dallas beat both Calgary and Colorado in 2020 but those teams have improved since then. Nashville just got punched in the mouth by the Flames and it would be a fun, fight-filled, physical series.
I am ready for either opponent and feel like the Flames should beat either. The way these teams are stumbling down the stretch I am not sure they can flip a switch. Another thing the Avs have lost 4 of 5 where the Flames have won 10 of 12 with points in 11 games.

The Flames could take a combined Stars/Predators roster and win.
The Flames are invincible!

Just start already, I don't care against who. This last week of the season feels like it's taking forever!

I wouldn't wanna play the Flames right now.
Honestly .....you wanna fight ?
Okay pick one.....GUD , Z, Looch, Richie, Chucky, Hanifin, Coleman....can all fight .
This team has that wolf pack mentality.
I LOVED how dementedly happy Lucic and Matthew were in the post game scrum about the hitting, fights and noise .
This team just happily answered the bell , won the game on the ice, the scoreboard and trenches.
Love me some rough and tumble hockey.
This team is ready to kick the snot out of any team right now and I love it.
I haven't seen a team this tough since we won in 88/89 with the likes of Ramage, Macoun, Roberts , Otto , T .Hunter , McLellan, Suter, Murzyn, M. Hunter, McCrimmon.....F me that team was tough.
I say bring it Bii tches!!!! Wake up the Boyz and Darryl and you'll pay in blood, and be spittin chicklets YO.
Let's Go!!!!

If it is a high ankle sprain - that is a tough injury for hockey. You can walk around and look fine and then put skates and it hurts like crazy and easy to re-injure.

I don’t really care. It’s time for us to beat the tar out of either one. But in reality if there is no Saros. Then I want Nashville.

Especially for a goalie like Sarros where his jam is quickness, which makes it tough with only one good ankle.

Yes, at least on the surface, matchups with Nashville and Edmonton in the first and second rounds seem to offer the path of least resistance to the Conference Final. But they still have to play the games, so I hope (and expect) that Sutter will keep them focused on what they have to do each and every game instead of looking too far ahead or taking anyone too lightly.

Now I want the Perds.
Without Saros they are a different team. Rittich can get rattled easily.

Saros being out makes Nashville the more intriguing prey, but I live in DFW so I'm hoping for Dallas purely so I can go to games 3 and 4.

C - Doesn't matter which team.
Will need to beat much stronger teams to get the 16th win.

How many seconds into game 1 before Chucky is setting up rent free in BSD's head?
