who knows though

Preds OT loss could be big I guess
I was confident before tonight that we would draw Dallas but now I'm much less so.

I think Dallas loses their last game.
And I'd say about 50/50 as to whether Nashville gains another point.

I bet both come limping in now.

But as you say, who knows. Flames can handle either and Preds not going to sneak up on them. A Stars series could take a game or two to get going and that could be to Flames disadvantage.

Getzlaf isn't playing in that last Dallas game, bit of a bonus for them

Getting most of their injured guys back helped. They've definitely been playing much better of late and they look like a more confident team heading into the post season.

I'm sure they'll enjoy being looked at as the underdog and use that as motivation, even though there's only a 2 point difference between them and the Oilers. Not to mention they have better overall team D, better goaltending, and are well versed in how to play a tight-checking defensive game. I'm looking forward to seeing them bounce Edmonton in 6 games or less.

Doesn't change much? This was huge. Nashville owns the tiebreaker, so with 2 games left each, Dallas needed to get more points than Nashville. And they gave away a point to Arizona (which you told us yesterday was a guaranteed win, btw).

All kinds of permutations still, but the bottom line is that NAS will need one more point, from its 2 remaining games (COL and ARI), than DAL gets from its 1 remaining game (ANA).

Half the roster is out for Arizona, but that didn't seem to matter

Nashville needed to lose a game either way, now they need to lose one in regulation. If Colorado can beat Nashville in regulation all Dallas needs to do is win a game

If Dallas can let Arizona come back and win then really anything can happen here. I don't trust that team to win any game they should lol.

But I'd say 80% its Dallas if Nash is beat in regulation.

It would just be nice to have the opponent and start time settled already.
