The league better look at that Duchesne spear. Ridiculous.

According to NHL.com, if Dallas bears Vegas in OT (since Nashvile got one point) Preds. clinch a playoff spot. Kinda nice. Dallas wins, it bones Vegas, Dallas loses, it bones the Preds.

Lucic celebrating the goal then shoving the Pred in the face, especially after the Duchene hi.

And Sutter having Lucic out there after the penalty in the first place is fantastic.

A lot of good things to take away from that one. If Markstrom was in net, I think that would have been a much easier win. Not that Vladar was awful, but he isn't quite at Markstrom's level (which is fine considering how young he is).

Dube and Coleman keep up their solid play as well.

I think Lucic and Coleman are going to really elevate their games in the playoffs. Coleman has been ramping up for a bit now and Lucic always seems to pick it up in the post season.

NHL needs to fix this.
He was dog tired too. Had been out there since the start of OT.

The only mitigating factor was he got pushed… but by his own teammate trying to give him a speed boost.

Ritchie with his first assist of the season. Impressive, not easy for a forward to go that many games without a helper.

Would love to play these guys in round 1. But my gut tells me Dallas.

Weird, my female intuition tells me Nashville!

I thought it was way worse tonight. So much so I had to turn it off halfway through the third. I missed the tying goal but watched the OT. I thought Nashville got away with a delay of game too knocking the net off but it ended up not mattering anyway.

I think he'll get away with it because he used the heel of his stick and basically slashed him with a forward motion along the side of Tkachuk. If he used the toe of his stick it's open and shut.

Not that I agree with it, but I doubt anything happens as a result.

So glad that ridiculous "roughing" penalty on Lindholm was avenged!

Hilarious that after Lucic rocked Duchene, Borowiecki dropped the gloves and then just stood back from Lucic and waited for his buddy to come in.
