The call on Minnesota's second goal is easily the worst call I've seen across the NHL this year.

Minnesota up 2-1 on Nashville about midway through the second. Shots are 25-9 for the Wild.

WC1 and WC2 won't be decided until the last day of the regular season?

Tampa is pumping Florida tonight. Now 7-4.

Had to happen. Panthers were getting too cozy with winning 13 in a row. This will give them a bit of a wake up call to get ready for the playoffs and clamp down a bit more defensively.

If you're going to break a 13 game win streak, may as well do it big.

8-4 Lightning after a PP goal following an instigated fight between Lomberg and Cernak.

The ref (McCauley?) even forced both Andrew Brunette (coach) and Jonathan Huberdeau (assistant captain) to the dressing room after the fight. I can't think of what either of those two had to do with it, but okay????

Probably said something to the ref. Not too unusual for a coach to get kicked. Bowness and Cooper have been in recent memory.

Huberdeau probably got a 10 minute misconduct for yapping too. Just like Gaudreau did in the blowout loss to Vancouver earlier this year.

The coach being kicked is rare in my memory. This isn't baseball. Managers/coaches aren't kicked out of the game very often in hockey.

Huberdeau yapping would surprise me too. He's not usually a guy that lips off the officials.

It probably had a lot to do with the fact that Cernak bulldogged Lomberg's head into the ice and they didn't say or do much about it. Dangerous play that should have led to an ejection for Cernak, but c'est la vie.

Rantanen & Toews are ultra important players to the Avs, maybe more so than we even thought. Can't seem to win without them.

Preds up on the Wild, let's see how that one shakes out.

Panthers can't keep getting lit up and relying on their offense to outscore everything. Eventually that strategy will fail them.

Maybe the Dolts do have a good shot at making it to the finals again after all?

No, it's not too frequent but not unusual either.

Most of us don't realize how much the Flames have been winning lately because of how these two have been playing.

The Ducks are mailing it in and abandoning their goalie. It is 6-2 Blues and the shots are 36-14 for Saint Louis.

Preds look meh. Dallas also looks meh.

Don't know which one I'd want to play. Probably Dallas.

I was gonna give the Preds credit for hanging in there with the Wild but they allowed 47 shots
