I seriously can’t believe Johnny actually has 110 points. I knew he had the talent to get 100, but I didn’t think he’d get that much over 100

Commentators going on and on about a “rule” that isn’t a rule, and was demonstrated in the penguins game tonight.

To be fair it’s a somewhat recent rule change. But whistle timing, even audibly, isn’t everything.

A reminder that the whistle being blown early (and before the puck goes in) does not mean that the goal can’t be reviewed and called a goal. The rule was changed a couple years ago, and goals have been given in that exact scenario.

Refs don’t even seem to know that though.
