Jays getting the breaks and offense from unlikely sources. Great to see!

Ok. Cimber closing worked out.

.666 team, not bad at all after the shaky start.

Espinal looks promising. That 15 lbs of muscle he put on in the off season training appears to have made a difference.

The bullpen has been fantastic so far, what a great story. Cimber continues to be effective, Phelps is looking very steady, Garcia looks great. Obviously can't expect them to continue to be this efficient but its certainly a nice change from last years start.

They're 5 series in now and haven't lost one... not sure how that's a shaky start. I guess they didn't sweep the yankees or the sox... maybe you're refering to the first 3 innings of the season?
The bullpen has definitely been the highlight of the year so far,

It's nice knowing you can feel somewhat comfortable when the Jays are leading and have to go to the bullpen. Last year I wasn't even comfortable with a 5 run lead in the 8th or 9th

Was just looking at schedule and didn't realize we go from....
Redsox to Astros to Redsox to Astros and then to Yankees again. We don't play Baltimore until middle of June.

Fair. I'm moreso referring to the starters not being up to par. The batting has been inconsistent here and there but they've come through late, which is good. I'm not being overly critical as it's just the flows of a long season ahead.

Oh bo. Should've been a double play. Instead they got noone.

Unlucky for Yusei. A missed strike call for ball 4. A huge error by Bo. And now the Astros have a big inning going.

Bo's errors have been extremely costly to date.
The strike zone got pretty tiny a couple times too.
Lots of baseball left.

Re the conversation about run production being down, I think an expanded strike zone has contributed too. Hard to tell though, not enough data yet.

Garcia has faced one more than the minimum and the Jays only trail 2-1
Just keep hanging around until the bats can put up some numbers

Kikuchi has looked good but seems to get unravelled when a strike doesn’t go his way. It’s the nature of pitching around the perimeter.

Man, the team would look so good with Brantley in RF if he signed a couple years back.
