As for Wolf coming, that would be interesting, I wonder if he will get a game. It seems more like bench duty than anything, because Vladar could use the games, but I can be wrong.

Maybe don't call people out unless you know the story...he claims to be a Flames fan...bashes the Flames non stop and all Oiler praise in very trolling fashion. He is not being attacked for being an Oiler fan. He is also using multiple accounts for his trolls.

Guy gave me two weeks to try and out him as an Oiler fan via PM lol it's all a game to him.

I think the one poster said it best, to give Markstrom a full night off, just in case Vlader needs to be pulled, as well as rewarding Wolf and giving him a taste of the big leagues.

My whole take on the meh ordeal:
I hear it's possible for someone to be a fan of the Flames and the Oilers, as weird as that sounds, it could be true. However..
I don't recall meh posting when the Flames were doing really good, especially in February and early March. (Most Oiler fans were pretty quiet on this forum too) Then maybe by coincidence, now that the Oilers are on this heater and most Flames fans were hoping the they were to falter with the tougher opponents, we are starting to see Oiler fans chime in a bit more lately.
As for the other posters, they chime in daily whether the Flames are doing good or bad.
So I can see how they can be seen as trolls, trying to stick it to Flames fans that were hoping the Oilers would lose out, but didn't.

I've seen what happens when we let trolls run rampant and they get the impression that they can do so. I think a couple Octobers ago we had half a dozen of them trickle in here one after the other ​and it got pretty unruly. When that happens the place suffers and it makes it no better than hf for hockey talk.

Even that villager guy at least sticks to oiler relevant threads to debate people once in a blue moon, and that's fine and fun.

This guy is actively inserting himself (phrasing) into every Flames thread he can to add baity, sarcastic remarks. He doesn't deserve the dignity and respect of a real poster.

Dino and whoever else thats called him out is doing a public service to the forum, afaic.

Purely for my own entertainment I would love to see a Saros vs Wolf matchup in our next game against Nashville. If both undersized goalies put on a clinic it would be a great confidence boost for smaller amateur goalies with big league aspirations.

No one wants HF. That's pretty obvious.

But IMO, the constant arguing does as much to turn this into HF as the trolling does. It gets very tiring.

Just my opinion, but your points might carry more weight if you made them less often, and less aggressively.

Best strategy would be to let people post what they want and have the moderators decide what can or can't fly.

If people want to hammer the Oiler moles that pop out of their holes just let them do them.

I think this is a win win win for all 3 goalies. Markstrom gets a well deserved night off whether he needs the rest or not I don't know but will deserved IMO. Vladar gets the start and should be capable of handling the Canucks. The Canucks will be playing playoff hockey and will give Vladar ready for that experience. Wolf gets the call up to the big leagues to back up Vladar and a taste of top tier hockey and primed for the AHL playoffs
