To any people browsing the boards who are involved at the station:
Just wanted to plant this seed but I'd love for 960 to extend an invite to Peter Maher to allow him the opportunity to get back in the booth for one game during these playoffs.
With Sutter back behind the bench and the Flames in a great position to go potentially multiple rounds, it would only be fitting to be able to hear Maher's voice on the game call once more.
It would really complete this season in a lot of ways and letting the new generation of Flames fans be able to enjoy the legendary voice of PM if they weren't around long enough to hear him the first time would also be a nice gift to the current fans.
This spring feels like the perfect storm and opportunity to make such a thing happen and I'm sure every one at the station would be elated to give him that opportunity.
Please bounce this idea around and see if we can make this possible!
Thanks

There is no way Wills would let this happen. Its a well known fact that he is a very arrogant, self-important person.

I don’t know Wills personally and maybe there’s something I missed somewhere but this post seems entirely unfair. Personally I don’t mind Wills call. It’s not easy following up a hall of fame broadcaster and maybe the issues are not his call but rather it’s different from what longtime fans were used to.
