He struggled a little after his first injury (remember how he kept fanning on one-timers?) but he has been back with a vengeance in the last 3-4 games.
He's awesome. 30 points is no small feat for a defenceman. He should be proud — and we should be proud of him.

If he could dial back 5-7% he would be amazing. I love Kylington, just makes certain things look way harder than they should be. He is critical to Flames playoffs though.
The Flames can clinch their division tonight with a win over the Stars. You better believe they are going to be firing on all cylinders. The Stars are going to have their hands full tonight. We need Otter to be on point this evening!

Honestly I don't know if Oliver is ever going to be the perfect player, he's going to make mistakes, but right now he's playing with some huge swagger. Making moves between his legs, jumping up on rushes, skating at full tilt to get back if he makes a mistake.
I'd rather see this Kylington than the hesitant, inconsistent one we saw immediately after he took that fall.

It's a real thing. Teams tend to request getting alberta out of the way with a back to back, and calgary is usually the 2nd team getting the softened opponent.
I recall our team made a stink about this ( probably just our media). The next season this was fixed but it was temporary apparently. I hope I'm remembering this right. It was a while ago

All the Stars' fans vitriol about Rick Bowness make me appreciate Darryl Sutter even more as the only Flames coach in Calgarypuck history that doesn't attract constant moaning on this board. It's so nice not to have to complain about the coach!
