Life satisfaction = Expectations - Reality
This Blue Jays team was easily the most hyped offseason team, so the only way people would be 'happy' with their start would be if they were 9-3 or better. That said a team's baseball season is an allegory for life itself. Even the best teams still lose 3-4 every 10 games and the ultimate World Series winner typically goes through some stretches of season with injuries to key players and struggling to play .500, etc.

I like Gausman and feel pretty good he’ll be better than Ray this year. Ray had some real good luck with walk and HR rates last year that I feel he’ll have problems replicating this year.
