Only fans of 'a team that knows how to lose' would go out of their way to pat themselves on the back on a rival's forum for regular season play after sitting on a generational talent for 7 years and accomplishing nothing with it.
Do you realize how incompetent you have to be to accomplish that?
I'd be more worried about that fact than how many nothing games you've won lately that change nothing in the standings.
They could win out and they'll still be in the Flames' shadow. Media are still on the McDavid bus, but they're no longer suckling from the Oiler teet. They've seen Sutter hockey for themselves and they like what they see down here better.

Their inferiority complex can be lucrative though...I have multiple bets with Oiler fans right now about who finishes higher and they all gave me odds of 5+ points
like taking candy from a baby...almost as bad as the guy who bet me Seattle would finish higher than Calgary but he hasn't been seen in months
