No, they have chairs there. I'm not sure that you could bring your own in.

I have high hopes for the new Fraser Valley club.
I think having an ownership group who has learned lots of lessons in the CPL already and can apply that knowledge to a new club is a very good thing.
The league will hopefully remain at 8 teams for next season if FC Edmonton is no more (no way the league operates it again next year if there is no owner, which I don't think there will be)

Bus up to Edmonton on May 6 is officially a go. Just working through the liquor license. Think there are 15 spots left as of now.
If anyone is interested just DM me.

Jersey Question…to the best of my knowledge, the jerseys with the Remembrance Day patch were only ever made available for public purchase on the auction, yes?

Forge up 1-0 and ref doesn't call an obvious penalty on Cavalry not long after...

Really concerned with the quality of this team. Haven't impressed much so far this season.

Man, that ref would used his whistle on absolutely anything Cavalry did. He tracked them way harder than he tracked Forge.

Good show from Cavalry. Always a tough match with Forge.

Musse in particular had a really good game. I also liked what we saw from Assi. It's nice to have some weapons in the attack that actually look dangerous. Yao got very lucky to not have a PK awarded against him and the backline was suspect all day. Hopefully that's something they can work out in training as I expect better from Klomp and Yao.

Thought Cavalry were sluggish out of the gate, but they dominated the latter part of the first half and most of the second half. Beat by a couple of great strikes outside of the box. A draw that feels like a loss, but significantly better performance than last week in Ottawa.
Thought Roloff looked great. I take back everything bad I said about Musse last week. Assi looks raw but talented. That Trafford / Loturi midfield was tremendous. Not much to dislike about that performance really.
Decent turnout at the Rose and Crown with about. OneSoccer was on early and sound was good throughout. We struggled a bit with them last year but it seems to be better now.

Decided to go to some games this year with my kid and buddy who's a big soccer fan from England. Put my money where mouth is.

1. It's a bit old news since they were named a couple of years ago
2. They are actually partnered with Atletico Madrid so it's not as arbitrary as some silly MLS names (looking at you Real Salt Lake)
But I do agree that it's not the most fitting name for the city of Ottawa.

Also decided to finally check out a game with my son, but for the life of me I can't find any match day info on their website re: directions/parking etc.
