This might also have to go in the gear grinder thread; can we have at least one ####ing day where there isn’t a crap ton of salt thrown on the roads due to a small skiff of snow? My dark car is now two-tone white from the door handles down.

I find it so funny that people will do reliability research on household appliances or only buy Amazon goods with 4+ star ratings but when it comes to a +$50 purchase they run right to a prestige badge without even bothering to check reliability.

Other than reaching out to CBE high school programs and SAIT (which i've) done, is there anywhere that trains auto body students that accept donor cars for inexpensive work for training?
15yr old buogh a car and it has some rust areas, needs bondo on rear 1/4 panel and some sanding and repainting. mechanically I can do other repairs but not body work.
