2 points is 2 points.

That much closer to clinching.

Just so much winning and the player stats becoming legendary.

Gaudreau and Tkachuk having career seasons. Good season for the team and the fans.

Vegas had an open door for a divisional spot and they might actually trip over themselves and miss it, even with their stars back. Down to NJ at home.

This is why I don't mind seeing a Canucks win, as long as the Knights also lose. Make Vegas sweat that little bit harder knowing they're only one point ahead of a no-hoper.

Yep, it's surprising, to say the least. They've been playing spectacularly craptacular considering how dire their situation is.

Congrats to Jacob Markstrom, with tonight’s assist he ties his highest point total in his career (0G, 3A) from the 2017-18 and 2018-2019 seasons. This would be his 10th point in his career.

Good team effort.

The Flames were good when Markstrom wasn't, Markstrom was good when the players weren't. Overall, they deserved to win.

Nice to see the Coleman, Dube, Jarnkrok line playing well.

Hanafin might end up passing Andersson in points at this rate. And that's despite having much less PP time (assuming this is the case).

With a win tomorrow the Flames would own the best road record in the league. One point back of Colorado currently in that regard.

Outside of the Florida massacre their road game has been impressively consistent all year.

2 wins in a row to break out of that slump, where the Flames have now won 6 of their last 7

Is anyone a little worried Markstrom isn't getting nearly enough action? I would think about sticking him in again tomorrow - Nashville is a possible 1st round opponent. Shake off some rust and prep for playoffs. Win-win.

The Dome is a C of Red, but the text is a sea of green.

For everybody worried about Markstrom here's the brass tax:

-3rd in NHL GAA
-5th in NHL SV%
-1st in shutouts.

Even tonight with the hand wringing, was he bad? No, he let in one bad goal, the Flames average 3.57 G/GP... so he literally has to let in 3 bad goals before you start to worry or 4 bad goals before they risk losing.

He's fine and truthfully he's one of the best in the NHL as demonstrated in the numbers.

I believe Markstrom’s best days are two weeks away.
