Magic number for the division is down to 3 points.

We have locked up any possible tiebreaker over Edmonton.

Aww yeah!! Johnny with 600, the Flames with another tasty 2 points. Not the prettiest of games, but in the immortal words of Sutter, "W's. *nod* That's what impresses me"

Clearly, Markstrom has so much respect for Kipper that he doesn't want to break his SO record. Classy guy.

Keith Tkachuk had a career high 98 points in 1995-96 so Matty is more than likely going to pass that. Good for him.

Two points for the Flames, two points for Johnny, two points for Chucky.

I’ll take it. On to Nashville!

plus minus, meaningless or no, and also a fluid stat so can still go down, but he has now passed Konstantinov (1996) and has the highest plus minus in 35 years (Gretzky 1987)

Marky bends but doesn't break.

Ultimately I'd say that's what you want.

Yet another game where they're draining their winning energy.

Let's go, basketball.
If nothing else, Edmonton will lose all focus on readying for playoff hockey to focus on their priority of keeping McDavid as the point leader.
Then they'll again enter the playoffs playing that useless 1 dimensional loser hockey style and be out quickly.

They will absolutely overplay him extra just to try to maintain the title.

Their thirst for recognition and individual awards knows no bounds.

Meanwhile Johnny might just streak in and win it with his 17 minutes a night and be primed for playoffs.
