Was just thinking the same thing. The entire period has been played in Chicago's end and he got caught napping at the wrong time.

You can argue he needs a game off, you can argue he needs to play through it and get his confidence back.
No doubt in my mind that Sutter asks Markstrom what he wants to do, ala Kipper.

What’s concerning to me is that in my eyes Markstrom had a brutal second half last year too albeit I thought that was in relation to the concussion. This season has been similar in that he has been off since the early new year.
