The find the media/fans debate around Markstrom’s workload funny and useless.
Sutter has a minutes played threshold for him. That’s the plan.
These “struggles” have had nothing to do with Markstrom. The team’s play for the last while has been very leaky. Bad defensive zone coverage by the defenders, poor backchecking by the forwards, and in the last few games I’ve thought that they’ve struggled to generate chances at even strength offensively.

Flames look awful. No urgency whatsoever, and they look like their heads just aren't in it. Not sure what's going on with these guys, but they'd better get it figured out quick.

I just want him to get some rest before the playoffs, then a few warm-up games. Nothing to do with performance as he's been fine
