I take it we're not seeing a Vladar start until Monday @ Chicago?

A must-win game.

A statement game.

It's do or die.

Biggest game of the year.

The season hangs in the balance.

I think I dislike Vegas currently more than the Oilers tbh. I hope we blow them out tonight but they’re still fighting for their playoff lives so this isn’t gonna be an easy one to win. Lets see how this one plays out. GFG!

I really don’t understand how a Flames fan can hate the Knights more than the Oilers? You might want to walk that back.

The way Vegas has used their advantage and worked the system is far more admirable than when the Oilers deliberately and shamelessly tanked for years to secure four 1st overall picks in a six year time span until the league had to change the rules.

Oh I’m sure I’ll go back to hating the Oilers more once the playoffs start. But something about Vegas really annoys me

An Oilers loss and a Vegas win kind of brings a first round Bof A into the picture, doesn't it?

Although I guess for that to happen, the Oilers can't completely collapse as they'd need to stay ahead of Nashville and Dallas but still be passed by LA and Vegas. That's likely very difficult.

I was sympathetic to Vegas in year 1 and that was likely because I just love the city. It is one my favorite places to go with my Wife and one day I hope to be a snowbird and have a place down there. I feel the hockey team helped heal that city after going through that horrible mass shooting weeks earlier. I found myself cheering for them over the Caps in 2018.

They annoyed me when they scooped Stone up when I thought the Flames had a good shot of adding him. It is irritating to see them discard players and easily upgrade their team. It is supremely annoying the Flames have never won there.

I am rooting for them to make it however as I think they have a better chance of beating the Oil than the Kings do.

Will be a statement game for the Flames and one they have to win. This is basically a playoff primer and what they’ve worked all season to get to.

Should be a good game.

Go Flames!

They would have to be passed by LAK, VGS, and one of NAS or DAL. Virtually no chance of that happening. And if it did (say they tank and go 2-7-0 or something like that), then probably all 4 teams pass them and they miss the playoffs altogether.

Man, Nolan Patrick may have some of the worst luck in the NHL.

Thought (and maybe he still eventually does) he might revamp his career in Vegas.

Anyone hear what his latest ailment is?

No I’m with you brother.

Seeing all this “I hope Vegas makes it in” crap makes me sick.

That franchise has only known success and as an expansion team that just isn’t right.

You can admire them for achieving what they did in year one but then they go out and show no loyalty to any of the guys that helped build the franchise up in short order and ditch them for the slam dunk free agent signings they can easily lure due to their tax benefits among other advantages.

Their fans have become entitled and they have a roster that isn’t legal when healthy.

How the hell could anyone not hate this team especially when you throw in the fact they are in our division, have beat us out on multiple trades/FA signings, and, much like Anaheim of the past, we can’t seem to beat them in their home building.

I hate the Oilers, don’t get me wrong but the hate for Vegas is pretty much equal and sometimes exceeds it because of their manipulating the system BS.

If Vegas and LA pass the Oilers, the Oilers will be out. They’re not going to have more points than Nashville and Dallas.

Time to beat these dirty cheaters.

I want McPhee in tears when this is done .

I think he's a smug fugger and I don't like that bugger.
Let's help em out with that dreaded feel of no playoffs and their new shiny cheating toy and they're 100 mill roster.....#$%^ the Knights , Vegas and the horse and whores they rode in on.

Let's clinch our spot and get on that unfinished business.

Dear Flames

All the sad, meagre hopes I have for my team rely on the Knights losing. Please win. Thank you.

Sincerely, insane Canucks fan who is clinging on to the small string of hope.

Hard to argue with results or that Sutter doesn't know what he's doing but I really don't understand or agree with riding Markstrom so hard. If he gets injured or his performance fades from fatigue in the playoffs, it will have wasted a great season. Keeping my fingers crossed but it's really starting to get unnerving.
