Was that the World's Cheapest Offside call to deny Villareal their second?

Perhaps not. Perhaps not the cheapest call...but its in the conversation.

Villareal full marks for the lead at half. Bayern have been very, very poor

Mendy with the nine month early Christmas present, handing the hattrick to Benzema.

Bayern will be feeling awfully lucky to only have lost 1-0, should’ve lost by 3 or 4

Double edit: Meltdown back on.

Camavingo gets a yellow and a standing round of applause from the home crowd.

Speaking of meltdowns. Bye bye Bayern.

Full credit to Villarreal, Bayern really didn't produce anything threatening in 180 minutes, even the one goal they did score was kinda lucky.

And congrats to Liverpool, surely the easiest path to a final ever, but they won't complain I'm sure.

Emery is having a hell of a redemption tour at Villareal. Winning the EL and getting to the CL semis with that team is an incredible achievement ... I don't like watching them at all, but credit where credit is due. And seeing Bayern lose is pretty sweet too.

Villareal deservedly go through. They were clearly the better team across the two legs

For sure - Juventus and then Bayern was no easy path for them either.

I mean serious in as much as those were the odds at the time. Should have got down obviously. Maybe should get down now as their odds against Liverpool figure to be their bleakest yet, I'd guess +600 or more.

Why wouldn't you post my most recent "Liverpool have the easiest path ever into the final" post lol. Surely a more relevant jinx.

Silence the both of you. Without Liverpool its going to be one of Real or City.

Why settle for the lesser Evil? Cheer for the Liverbird!
